Beet greens juice
Despite what you may think.. the picture above is not a a porter or your favorite dark beer. This my friends, is the result of juicing beet greens. Plug your nose and take a shot of this goodness for some real hippie tasting notes. We are talking straight up dirt. I know, tempting. Beet greens are a great mixing base for combining other fruits and vegetables that have a tarter more vibrant taste. But if you are hardcore enough, I would at least try drinking it on it's own.
Beet stalks contain several healing and inflammatory benefits and also wonderful vitamins like C, A, and K which are awesome for your immune system. Two cups of beets contain 89 milligrams of calcium, 2 milligrams of iron, 13% RDA of magnesium, and 12% RDA of potassium.
